SDCC

This week, this is Comic Con and you can see Pascal at booth G03. I guess Pascal will not have enough time to post on Scribiling. I wonder he's selling a lot of Books! So this week, I imagined Pascal's fans waiting for a dedicace and I have done this picture. I'm sure he has tons of fans ! Have fun Pascal ! Hope we will be together at Comic Con next year with Scribiling book ! Have a great SDCC week all !

Theme of the week : "A place in the city where we like to be in." According to me, the "Café Bellecour" is the most peaceful place to go in the morning or for the lunch. There are so many paintings on the wall : old watercolor, oil paintings of the city, advertising ... This place often brings me inspiration for my work and I hope that, in 100 years, one of my illustration will be hung on the wall among the others... Have a great day !

Something different

This week, we were trying to do something that was not in our comfort zone.
For me. drawing with lines is not a usual thing, neither are close ups. So, I though I'd tried that!



Cette semaine, on a essayer de faire quelque chose qui nous sorte de notre zone de comfort. Pour moi, dessiner avec des lignes ( les personnages du moins), c'est pas evident, et je ne fais jamais, ou presque, de gros plans sur des visages, encore moins des visages de femmes..alors voila!

Something (really) different...

For the theme of the week, Pascal (and Katrina) suggested me to create a picture completly different of my usual illustrations.... I don't know if I really caught their words but I guess they wanted me to create a picture without any woman, closed eyes, flowing dark hair, melancholy mood, empty streets, seagull, palms, flowers, bay trees, seaside.... So... this is my contribution. Hope you like it.... Please forgive my rockin' girlie and all these closed eyes... It's not so easy to change my habits ^_^

J'ai pris pas mal de plaisir à faire cette image. Imaginer un quai de métro complètement vide, sans bruits, et se projeter dans l'affiche murale le temps que la rame arrive...

I was really fun to create this picture. Just imagine an empty platform, without any noise and thinking about the poster on the wall waiting for getting on to the subway... Great theme Pascal!
