I agree with you Pascal! Not easy to make this picture... I first had the same idea than you but I changed this morning... I don't know why... I just wanted to have a man listening to some music... and the king in the background. :)

D'accord avec toi Pascal! Pas facile ce thème... En plus j'ai eu la même idée que toi au départ, marrant ça :) J'ai changé. Je ne sais pas vraiment pourquoi mais je voulais dessiner un gars avec un baladeur mp3 et simplement évoquer Michael dans l'image. Surement l'envie de parler de sa musique :)

Although I'm the one who threw out the theme, I can't say I was all that inspired!
Anyhow.. I want to see Matthieu's piece on this!


Le theme de la semaine...Michael Jackson.
Malgre le fait que ce soit moi qui ai lance le theme, on peut pas dire que je soit tellement inspire. Peut etre parceque Michael est une telle bete de scene et qu'on a dis tant de choses sur lui que j'ai peur de faire quelque chose de trop minimisant.
Enfin....j'ai hate de voire L'image de Matthieu!

I have to make a picture including the elements that Pascal sent to me... These are his words : a young woman, an old man, a policeman, a racing car, a pinguin, a fridge and a wheelbarrow... Here my contributions to this curious and funny experience on scribiling! Have a great day!

Je devais construire une image à partir des mots que Pascal m'a envoyés : une jeune femme, une voiture de sport, un policier, un vieil homme, un pinguoin, un frigo et une brouette! Pas facile mais très marrant comme exercice! Bonne journée à tous!

Waiting for the night

Pour cette semaine, Matthieu a proposer un jeu interessant. Il m'a donner sept elements a mettre absolument dans l'image.
Ces elements etaient

- Un panneau publicitaire grand format (4x3)
- Une baleine qui sourit
- Une femme de 35 ans (genre working girl)
- Un réfrigérateur
- Une orchidée
- Un homme qui fume une clope en attendant
- Des pétales de fleurs de cerisiers qui s'envolent

Je ne sais pas si c'etait l'intention du groupe, mais je trouve cette musique melancolique et presque triste, mais je ne sais pas pourquoi. J'avoue que j'ai eut du mal avec cette image!

Neanmoins, je dois dire que c'est vraiment un exercise super!!
J'ai hate de le refaire!


for my part, my song was Horizons, from Genesis.
I found that piece pretty sad actually, although I'm not sure if that was the band's intention. I admit having a hard time with this one!

Still... I thought this was such a GREAT exercise and I can't wait to do it again, and again!

En musique

Last week, Pascal sent me a track "Ja sei Namorar" and he suggested me to create a picture inspired by this song. Great new experience on scribiling. I tried to mix this song with my painting and I am happy with this work. I have also send a track to Pascal. I look forward to watching your art Pascal! ^__^
